The Weekend

The wedding is Saturday the 12th; the weekend runs Thursday through Sunday, and every meal is covered at the estate. Times will firm up as we get closer — this page will always have the latest.

Thursday · December 10

Come up Thursday

  • Afternoon on

    The estate opens

Our honest recommendation: don’t wait for Friday. The whole place is ours from Thursday afternoon — come up, drop your bags in your room, walk the grounds while it’s still light, and help us get the first fire going. Dinner’s at the house, casual and warm, like every meal this weekend.

Friday · December 11

Welcome to the valley

  • All day

    Arrivals

Planes land, cars wind up the mountain, hugs at the door. Get settled, find the coffee, and go say hi to the alpacas — they’re expecting you.

  • Evening

    Welcome dinner & fire pit

Our first night all together: dinner at the house, then drinks and a long, slow evening around the fire. Dress warm and casual — this is the flannel portion of the weekend.

Saturday · December 12

The wedding

  • Morning

    A slow start

Coffee and a big breakfast at the house. The morning is yours — wander the grounds, walk into town, take the nap. We’ll be the ones getting ready.

  • Late afternoon

    The ceremony

Short and sincere, outside if the weather lets us — right as the light goes gold behind the ridge. There will be blankets, but wear something warm under your nice things.

  • Evening

    Dinner & dancing

Into the gallery for dinner and a few toasts, then the band, then dancing until they make us stop.

  • Late

    The late shift

The fire pit will still be going for whoever’s still standing. Nightcaps, blankets, and the good stories.

Sunday · December 13

One last breakfast

  • Morning

    Farewell breakfast

Nothing fancy — coffee, biscuits, and long goodbyes before everyone rolls back down the mountain. No rush; leave when you’re ready.

Exact times will be confirmed with your invitation — and posted here — as the weekend gets closer.
